Melody Ozdenak began her career at The Silver Palate's gourmet store in 1986 creating recipes. She also created recipes for Tip Tree Jams and Jellies and The Silver Palate product line. Melody became executive chef in 1987, working to expand The Silver Palate's number of catering clients and brought in new and exciting ideas for the signature store on Columbus Ave. From 1988-1989 she worked as the preferred caterer for Malcolm Forbes on his private plane. Melody joined Fanfare, Inc. in 1990 as executive chef, eventually becoming owner in 2007. Since 2007, Melody holds the philosophy of: building business relationships, based on trust and professionalism, working with talented chefs and to exercise flexibility to meet client needs.
